The Elcometer Fineness of Grind Gauges are used to determine the particle size and fineness of grind of many materials including paints, pigments, inks, coatings, chocolates and other similar products. 

• Range: 0-50 µm
• Resolution: 5 µm
• Made of hardened stainless steel 
• Graduated in microns, mils, NS (Hegman) or PCU (North), the gauges have a tolerance of ±2μm (0.08mil).  The groove width for all models is 12mm (0.47”) with a groove length of 127mm (5.0”).
